Where anger is an issue, clients typically engage in a weekly session to help them recognize the signs of anger and escalation of negative behavior.
Anger becomes an issue when you are no longer able to control it, thereby causing you to say or do things that you regret after the fact.
Anger may be caused by trauma and may also be a result of anxiety or depression, or addiction.
The goal we hope to achieve with our anger management therapy is to learn how to self-regulate (decrease anxiety) and deal with the situation through positive coping skills and cognitive behavioral therapy.
